OverviewThe BPS Series are programmable high-power AC sources designed for automated test equipment (ATE), product testing and avionics validation. Available as floor-standing chassis with casters, the family covers single- and three-phase configurations from 30 kVA to 180 kVA and supports frequency-conversion, transient generation and detailed measurement tasks.
Key Features- Programmable high-power AC output for frequency conversion and product test environments.
- Modular power options: 30, 45, 75 and 90 kVA units; multi-unit configurations to reach 150 kVA, 180 kVA and above.
- Standard remote interfaces: RS232, USB, IEEE-488 (GPIB); optional Ethernet (LAN). Supports SCPI and instrument drivers for ATE integration.
- Front-panel menu controller with backlit LCD for local setup and full remote control via supported interfaces.
- Wide voltage range options and optional high-voltage transformer for 400 V L-N / 693 V L-L output.
- High crest factor (up to 4.5) to drive nonlinear loads with high peak currents.
- Output frequency up to 819 Hz (optionally limited to 500 Hz) for aerospace applications and precise frequency control.
Application Software- Windows GUI included to run steady-state control, create and execute transient programs, and capture measurements without custom coding.
- GUI functions: run/save/reload transient sequences, log measurements, display voltage/current waveforms and monitor bus traffic (IEEE-488, RS232, USB, LAN) to aid test development.
AC Transient GenerationThe built-in transient generator creates time-synchronized sequences of voltage and frequency across three phases with accurate phase-angle control. Sequences can be programmed from the front panel or GUI and stored in non-volatile memory for recall.
Measurement and AnalysisA DSP-based data acquisition system provides continuous monitoring and real-time digitization with a 4K sample buffer for waveform capture and time-domain analysis. Captured data is viewable on the front panel and via the GUI for diagnostics and reporting.
