OverviewBERG OXYBERG® on-site oxygen systems provide industrial and project-specific oxygen generation using PSA technology. Available configurations include standalone PSA generators, skid-mounted plug-and-play packages and containerised plants, each engineered to meet required flow, purity, delivery pressure and site conditions.
Configurations- Standalone PSA generators: Produce oxygen from treated compressed air where site compressors and air treatment are provided.
- Skid-mounted plug-and-play packages: Pre-assembled mechanical package combining generator, air treatment, vessels, filtration, piping and controls on a common skid to reduce installation time.
- Containerised plants: Transportable, protected turnkey installations for outdoor or remote sites; booster and cylinder-filling station options available.
Standalone PSA generators (high-level)- Oxygen purity: configurable 90–95% O₂.
- Capacity range: models from 1.5 to 197.4 Nm³/h (model- and purity-dependent).
- Project integration: monitoring, control and redundancy options available.
Skid-mounted packages (high-level)- Pre-assembled on a common metal skid for simplified mechanical and electrical interfaces.
- Coordinated piping, filtration, vessels and controls for faster installation and commissioning.
- Includes accessory equipment as specified per package (compressor optional).
Containerised plants (high-level)- Weather-protected, transportable solution for remote or outdoor projects.
- Can include booster, filling station and integrated monitoring; ready for site connection.
What is an on-site oxygen generator? An on-site oxygen generator separates oxygen from ambient air and supplies it directly to the process. Compressed, cooled and treated air enters the PSA unit where zeolite molecular sieves adsorb nitrogen under pressure while oxygen-rich product gas is delivered. Two adsorption vessels alternate between adsorption and regeneration to provide continuous oxygen within the configured purity and pressure range.
System composition (typical components)- Air compressor (optional in packaged solutions)
- Compressed-air dryer (adsorption type where specified)
- Compressed-air filtration and coalescers to required ISO class
- Air receiver / compressed-air buffer tank
- PSA oxygen generator (OXYBERG®)
- Oxygen receiver / product tank and piping
- Control system, purity and pressure sensors, monitoring and safety interlocks
- Optional booster and cylinder-filling station
