Product informationParticle counter PC 400 — stationary solution for compressed air and gases. The high-precision optical particle counter PC 400 measures particles from 0.1 μm and is suitable for monitoring compressed air quality class 1 (ISO 8573). It monitors the correct function of installed filter elements and immediately detects any filter breakthrough. Automatic monitoring of the compressed air sampling flow ensures the availability of particle-free compressed air.

Key benefits- High-precision optical laser particle counter for compressed air and technical gases.
- High-precision optics for detection of the smallest particles down to 0.1 μm (suitable for monitoring compressed air class 1 according to ISO 8573-1).
- Sampling flow 28.3 L/min (1 cfm) — approx. 10× higher than common counters (usually 2.83 L/min), improving counting accuracy for small particles.
- Digital data transmission (Modbus RTU) to DS 400 or DS 500 recorders, allowing simultaneous transmission of 3 measurement channels with checksum error checking.
- Class 1 calibration filter included for on-site calibration to quickly detect or exclude optical contamination.
Stationary solution (examples of included equipment)- Particle counter PC 400 up to 0.1 μm for compressed air and gases, with pressure reducer.
- Connection cable for probes 5 m, with open ends.
- DS 400 screen recorder with graphic display and touch operation (combination option).
- Options: integrated data logger (100 million values), Ethernet and RS‑485 interface, CS Soft Basic software for graphical and tabular evaluation via USB or Ethernet.
- Alternative availability: PC 400 also available in a 0.3 μm version.
