Product informationThe highly precise optical particle counter PC 400 measures particles from 0.1 µm and is suitable for monitoring compressed air quality class 1 (ISO 8573-1). It continuously monitors filtration elements installed in the compressed air line and detects filter breaches immediately. The compressed air flow through the particle counter is automatically supervised to ensure representative sampling.

Advantages at a glance- Optical laser particle counter for compressed air and technical gases with detection from 0.1 µm
- High-precision optics for smallest-particle detection, suitable for monitoring compressed air class 1 (ISO 8573-1)
- Sampling flow 28.3 l/min (1 cfm) — approx. 10× higher than many market counters (typically 2.83 l/min) for improved counting accuracy of fine particles
- Digital data transfer (Modbus-RTU) to DS 400 / DS 500 chart recorders; up to 3 measurement channels can be transferred simultaneously
- Included class 1 filter usable for on-site calibration and rapid detection/exclusion of optics contamination
