Product information
ÖWAMAT® 10 oil–water separator for condensate treatment, suitable for dispersed and emulsified condensates. Designed for on-site processing to meet legal discharge requirements and reduce environmental impact. The unit uses a two-stage exchange filter (OEKOSORB®) to bind residual oil components and allows treated condensate to be discharged as purified water where permitted.

Function
Oil-containing condensate flows under pressure into a pressure-relief chamber where pressure is reduced to avoid turbulence. Coarse particles are retained in a removable receiver. In the separating tank oil rises by gravity and is collected in a leakproof oil receiver; treated water exits via the water outlet.

Maintenance
Weekly wastewater test

• Fill the test tube at the sampling cock.
• Compare turbidity with the reference jar.

If the sample is clearer than the reference
– the filter is OK.
If the sample is cloudier than the reference
– the filter must be changed. Never pour any foreign liquid into the pressure-relief chamber; this can impair filter efficiency.

Maintenance / inspection notes
Before any maintenance: close the condensate inlet and, if necessary, stop the compressor. Inspect hoses and hose connections regularly.
