The advantage of vertical lineshaft pump technology as to safe operation is that the installations comprise a submersible part immersed in the pumped fluid and a mechanically/electrically driven part positioned on the surface. These pumps are installed in wells, basins and tanks, or are used for directly catching and extracting water, where they allow lifting and overpressure to be obtained with the same machine.
