OverviewFDS5000 drilling and cutting machine is a dedicated unit for cutting blade end faces and drilling holes on wind turbine blades. It is designed for blade diameters from 2.5 m to 5.0 m (2500–5000 mm).
Main features- Transverse horizontal layout with compact structure and high rigidity.
- Composed of bed, spindle indexing section, drilling and cutting section; equipped with pneumatic system, blade support and feed system, lubrication system, dust extraction and an independent electrical cabinet.
- Indexing and hole drilling use a two-stage worm gear reducer with a servo motor driving the spindle for precise indexing and machining accuracy.
- Specialized for end-face cutting and hole drilling on wind turbine blades, optimized for 2.5–5.0 m diameter blades.
