Working Principle
Clamping relies on thermal expansion/contraction. Heat the tool holder with the Shrink-Fit unit, insert the cutting tool while the inner bore is expanded, then allow cooling so the holder contracts and clamps the tool directly.
The system clamps the cutting tool without mechanical connectors such as collets or nuts, making it suitable for high-speed machining that requires precise runout, dynamic balance and clamping rigidity.
