Working Principle
Clamping is based on thermal expansion and contraction. The tool holder is heated with a Shrink-Fit unit and the cutting tool is inserted while the inner bore expands. After cooling the holder contracts and clamps the tool directly without mechanical components such as collets or nuts. This design is ideally suited for high-speed machining requiring high accuracy, dynamic balance and clamping rigidity.
