Working PrincipleClamping is achieved by thermal expansion and contraction: the tool holder is heated with the Shrink-Fit unit, the tool is inserted while the bore is expanded, and after cooling the holder contracts to clamp the tool directly without collets or nuts. This design is suited to high-speed machining requiring accuracy, dynamic balance and clamping rigidity.
