Working PrincipleClamping is achieved by thermal expansion and contraction. The tool holder is heated with a Shrink-Fit machine and the cutting tool is inserted while the internal bore expands. After cooling, the holder contracts and secures the tool directly, without mechanical components such as collets or nuts. This principle is suited for high-speed machining requiring high accuracy, dynamic balance and clamping rigidity.
