Module EVE enclosure battery air conditioners are the best technical and cost-effective solution when high cooling capacities are required. Machine tools, such as those used for die casting or extrusion processes, may require large automation systems and control panels with high thermal loads, often exceeding 4 kW. In these cases, the Module range, with cooling capacities from 6 kW to 10 kW, provides an optimal solution to meet the required cooling demand. The use of R513A refrigerant gas, efficiency and the use of less refrigerant gas reduce resource usage and CO2 impact. Among HFO refrigerants, for its air conditioners cosmotec has chosen the refrigerant R513A due to some of its distinctive characteristics. It does not deplete the ozone layer and is available over the medium to long term not only for manufacturing purposes but also for maintenance activities. It falls within safety class A1 as it is a non-flammable refrigerant and therefore does not require additional safety measures for installation in electrical enclosures and/or cabinets. It also offers several other outstanding properties: a significantly lower GWP value compared to R134a (R134a: GWP = 1430, R513A: GWP = 631), high energy efficiency and improved environmental sustainability.
