Some applications, such as small enclosures integrated into machine tools, are developed horizontally rather than vertically. The Smart industrial air conditioner is the ideal solution, as its horizontal layout, combined with compact height and depth dimensions, allows for quick and easy installation directly on the machine or on control panels. The use of R513A refrigerant gas, efficiency and the use of less refrigerant gas reduce resource usage and CO2 impact. Among HFO refrigerants, for its air conditioners cosmotec has chosen the refrigerant R513A due to some of its distinctive characteristics. It does not deplete the ozone layer and is available over the medium to long term not only for manufacturing purposes but also for maintenance activities. It falls within safety class A1 as it is a non-flammable refrigerant and therefore does not require additional safety measures for installation in electrical enclosures and/or cabinets. It also offers several other outstanding properties: a significantly lower GWP value compared to R134a (R134a: GWP = 1430, R513A: GWP = 631), high energy efficiency and improved environmental sustainability.
