Description

Slurry submersible pumps are designed for pumping liquid containing solids and abrasive particles. Slurry pump changes in design and construction to adjust to multiple type of slurry which varies in concentration of solids, size of solid particles, shape of solid particles, and composition of solution. Dynamically balanced Hi-Chrome impellers are used for reliable operation which is basically white iron with 25% chromium added to make it less brittle. Slurry pumps are widely used in transport of abrasive solids in industries such as mining, dredging, power and steel. Features Wear resistant closed/semi open impeller in Hi-chrome alloy steel Ergonomically designed for easy handling Dual mechanical seal provides additional protection to motor Application Mine tailings Power plant ash River and lagoon silt Steel slag Rolling mill scale Sewage and waste water Flood control Contruction dewatering
