Measurement PrincipleThe DUVCOD-900 operates based on the ultraviolet (UV) absorption principle of organic matter. It utilizes the spectral absorption coefficient SAC254 (at a wavelength of 254 nm) to accurately quantify the concentration of soluble organic compounds in water. Under specific application conditions, the measured SAC254 values can be converted to equivalent COD, BOD, or TOC values. This innovative method enables continuous, real-time monitoring without the need for chemical reagents, eliminating secondary pollution and simplifying operational workflows.
