Product description
The DT4227 RS4 Process Indicator displays signed numeric values and limited-character messages transmitted over communication lines. In numeric mode it shows values from -9999 to 99999 with blankable leading zeros and optional display flashing. In message mode it presents short text (e.g., Start, Stop, End, Error) using the 7-segment character set; characters can flash individually or together. Multiple units can share the RS485 bus. Communication parameters are configurable; maximum baud rate 9600 Baud.

The instrument includes two programmable SPST relay outputs for alarm or control functions. Configuration can be performed via the intuitive front-panel menu or via the USB-mini port using the recommended USB 3.0 connection and a single-screen configuration program. Settings are protected by a two-level password.
