Product description
The DT4227 RS4.. Process Indicator is designed to display signed numerical values and limited-character messages transmitted via communication lines. The device features a 5-digit LED display with a character height of 57 mm, ensuring excellent readability even from a long distance.
In numerical display mode, any number within the range of -9999 to 99999 can be displayed; leading zeros can be blanked, and the entire display can be set to flash.
In message display mode, the device can display text (such as Start, Stop, End, Error, etc.) using the character set supported by the 7-segment display. In this mode, characters can be flashed either individually or simultaneously.
Several displays can be operated on the RS485 communication bus.
The communication protocol is Modbus RTU slave.
The device has dual relay outputs (SPST), which are freely programmable, and several limit modes can be selected.
The communication parameters can be set, the maximum communication speed is 9600 Baud.
The operating parameters can be set via a simple menu system using front-panel pushbuttons or via a USB interface with a single-screen (free) configuration program: display brightness, leading zero suppression, Modbus parameters, etc. The settings are protected by a two-level password against unauthorized access.
The device is available with two power supply options:

• DT4227 RS4 type 24 VDC ± 10% or
• DT4227 RS4 PS type 230 V AC/DC ± 10%.
