Product description
The DT4227 Ptx Process Indicator measures and displays the temperature detected by a Pt100 / Pt500 / Pt1000 temperature sensor connected to its input. It also measures and displays the value of a connected resistor or the wiper position of a potentiometer.
The sensor or resistor / potentiometer can be connected to the input using a 2-, 3-, or 4-wire configuration. In the case of 3 / 4-wire connection, the connection wires resistance does not affect the measurement. In resistance / potentiometer measurement mode two ranges are available: 0–500 ohm / 0–5 kohm.
The device features a 5-digit LED display with a character height of 57 mm, ensuring excellent readability even from a long distance. The display brightness is adjustable.
Operating parameters can be configured via a simple menu system using the front panel pushbuttons, or via a USB interface using a single-screen (free) configuration software. Configurable parameters include: input signal range selection, input signal averaging, scaling, display refresh rate, display brightness, limit values, limit operating modes, etc.
The device is equipped with dual, freely programmable limit relay outputs (SPST), with multiple limit operating modes available for selection.
The device is available with two power supply options:

• DT4227 Ptx type: 24 VDC ± 10%
• DT4227 Ptx PS type: 230 V AC/DC ± 10%.
