OverviewThe PROFILE EDITOR tool is an add-on module for the SX software suite that enables execution of variable-profile, cyclical fatigue tests. Profiles can be generated directly in the software interface or created in an external text editor and imported quickly into the tool.
PurposePROFILE EDITOR is used to reproduce variable-load histories acquired from sensors and data loggers mounted on components during normal operation or field testing. It is particularly suited for standardized fatigue procedures such as ISO 4210-6 for crank arm testing.
Control modes- Position control
- Force control
- Encoder-based control
Profile editing and executionGain Amplitude and Gain Time functions allow rapid scaling of profile amplitude and time base without reprogramming the full sequence. Five interpolation modes are provided to define the points that compose the profile, enabling accurate reproduction of measured curves.
Multi-axis supportPROFILE EDITOR supports TX-2 and TDX-2 multi-axis systems. Individual load histories can be assigned to each actuator and executed synchronously, with phase relationship management handled by the SX software.
ApplicationsIdeal for laboratory and field fatigue testing where replication of service-derived load profiles is required, including crank arm fatigue tests in accordance with ISO 4210-6.
