Description

The Emi3 instantaneous flowmeter is the world reference equipment for the characterization of automotive injectors. The EMI3 is a device for measuring the volume injected. It also offers measurement of the opening and closing delay for each injection. This flowmeter allows a complete characterization of the injectors, in research & development and production. It is used by all designers and manufacturers of gasoline and diesel injectors. This equipment is particularly suitable for fields of application such as automobiles, construction machinery and trucks. It is equipped with xEMI3 software allowing the display of all measurements on a single screen: volume injected, mass injected, opening and closing time for each injection, start of injection, length of injection, instantaneous value, average value, minimum value, maximum value, standard deviation. It consists of a mechanics receiving the injector holder and the measuring system, an electronics managing the measurement cycle and performing all the calculations at each turn, and Ethernet link for connection to PC and two 8-meter cables.
