Description

These cells are suited for application where high-pressure endurance is necessary. Thanks to its special design, it can withstand pressure up to 30 MPa (4 351 PSI) or 100 MPa (14 500 PSI) according to the cell model. The cells are to be used outside of ECOM detectors, where light beams are delivered to the flow cell via optical cables and SMA connector. The High-pressure External Flow-Cells are used for analyzing and monitoring the absorbance of liquids passing through the cell at high pressure, where UV light is led from the detector and back using SMA 905 connectors and optical cables. Pressure and temperature resistance: The cell is designed to withstand a maximum operating pressure of 30 MPa (4351 PSI) or 100 MPa (14 500 PSI). Moreover, it can withstand high operating temperatures up to +160 °C (320 °F). Optical path length: Different optical path lengths are available: from 0.05 mm to 2 mm. Quality of the surface: The wetted surfaces of the flow cell are characterized by their high-grade surface quality, with a Surface Finish under Ra 0.4 µm. Upon request, the flowcell can be electro-polished and passivated. Wetted Materials: are a PEEK body and a Sapphire window. Features and Benefits • Withstands high pressures up to 30 MPa (4351 PSI) or 100 MPa (14 500 PSI) as well as high temperatures (up to +160 °C (320 °F)). • Extremely low internal volume. • Good rinsing without cross-contamination of the sample.
