ECOM single-use polypropylene flow cells with a BARB connection are a cost-effective solution to help avoid sample cross-contamination. The flow cells are mounted into a universal holder and can be easily replaced by the user after each use or a few uses. ECOM single-use polypropylene flow cells with a BARB connection are used for analyzing and monitoring the absorbance of liquids passing through the cell, where UV light is led from the detector and back using SMA 905 optical cables. It has been designed as a cost-effective solution for applications where it is necessary to avoid cross-contamination between different separation processes, and it is impossible to wash and reuse the cells. The customer can easily replace the flow cell after each use or after a few uses in the holder. Quality of the surface: The internal flow-through hole of the cell is characterized by its high-quality processed surface. Its internal surface quality value is less than Ra 0.4, which is required for various applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries. Materials: The cell´s wetted materials are: a polypropylene body, PEEK MT insert, and a sapphire window (which ensures high resistance). Connections: ECOM TCO single-use cells are designed for chromatography systems equipped with hose connectors with dimensions of 3/8″, ¼″, and ½″. A necessary component for connecting the cell is the ECOM HSUC0201 Holder for single-use Flow cell - a universal holder for all sizes of single-use cells (to be ordered separately).
