Description

These cells are suited for application where high-pressure endurance is necessary. Thanks to its special design, it can withstand pressure up to 30 MPa (4 351 PSI). The cells are to be used outside of ECOM detectors, where light beams are delivered to the flow cell via optical cables and SMA connector. The High-pressure External Flow-Cells are used for analyzing and monitoring the absorbance of liquids passing through the cell at high pressure, where UV light is led from the detector and back using SMA 905 connectors and optical cables. Pressure and temperature resistance: The cells are designed to withstand a maximum operating pressure of 30 MPa (4351 PSI), according to the cell type. Moreover, it can withstand high operating temperatures up to +160 °C (320 °F). Optical path length: Different optical path lengths are available: from 0.05 mm to 6 mm. Quality of the surface: The wetted surfaces of the flow cell are characterized by their high-grade surface quality, with a Surface Finish under Ra 0.4. Wetted Materials: are a PEEK cell body and a Sapphire window . Features and Benefits • Withstands high pressures up to 30 MPa (4351 PSI) as well as high temperatures (up to +160 °C (320 °F)). • Extremely low internal volume. • Good rinsing without cross-contamination of the sample. • Compliant with USP Class VI requirements. • Wide range of optical path length options. • Compatible with ECOM external TOY detectors. • Inspection Certificate EN 3.1 on request.
