Overview
TECHSPEC® 405 nm Laser V-Coated Plano-Convex (PCX) lenses are optimized for maximum throughput at the 405 nm laser design wavelength. These plano-convex singlets collect and focus laser light and its harmonics, offering typical per-surface reflection of <0.25% at the design wavelength to minimize losses in multi-element optical systems.

Coating & Wavelength Options
These PCX lenses are offered standard with Laser V-Coat at 405 nm. Additional Laser V-Coat center wavelengths are available, and alternative coatings include uncoated, MgF2, VIS 0°, VIS-NIR, NIR I and NIR II to suit varied system requirements.

Application Notes
With per-surface reflection below 0.25% at 405 nm, these lenses are well suited to diode laser applications and multi-component optical assemblies where high transmission and low back-reflection are required. They are commonly used for beam collection, focusing and coupling tasks in laser systems.
