Description

The NL300 series are compact flash-lamp pumped, electro-optically Q-switched nanosecond Nd:YAG lasers designed to deliver high energy pulses with durations of 3–6 ns at repetition rates up to 20 Hz. These lasers are recognized for their reliability and rugged sealed laser cavity, making them suitable for demanding scientific and industrial applications. The NL300 series offers a wide range of harmonic generator modules, enabling wavelength generation up to the 5th harmonic, and features optional attenuators for both fundamental and harmonic wavelengths. The system supports water-to-water or water-to-air cooling, and allows for flashlamp replacement without misalignment of the laser cavity. Remote control is possible via keypad and/or RS232/USB port, with LabView™ drivers included for easy integration.

Description
NL300 series lasers produce high energy pulses with selectable repetition rates from 5 to 20 Hz. The NL30×HT models are optimized for maximum energy extraction, delivering up to 1100 mJ at 5 Hz. The compact laser head (approx. 480 mm long) and power supply (330 × 490 mm footprint) are designed for easy integration and maintenance, with convenient access to the water tank and flashlamp replacement that does not require realignment. The system can be configured with water-to-water or water-to-air heat exchangers, allowing operation without tap water if needed. Control is available via LabView™ drivers or a remote pad.

Benefits
  • High pulse energy (up to 1100 mJ at 1064 nm, 700 mJ at 532 nm, 450 mJ at 355 nm) and short pulse duration (~4 ns) for strong material interaction, ideal for LIBS and ablation
  • Cost-effective, single-cavity design with no amplifiers for easy alignment, high reliability, and low maintenance
  • Compact size saves laboratory space
  • Fast flashlamp replacement without realignment
  • Air cooling option for simple installation and low maintenance
  • Multiple interfaces: USB, RS232, optional LAN and WLAN for easy integration

Options
  • -AW: Air-cooled power supply option (requires stable room temperature)
  • Harmonic generator: Selection up to 5th harmonic
  • Attenuator: Smoothly adjusts pulse energy without affecting other parameters

Harmonic Generators & Attenuators
  • Compact, thermo-stabilized modules with dichroic mirrors and AR coatings
  • Phase matching by mechanical adjustment
  • High conversion efficiency and wide configuration selection
  • Modular design allows reconfiguration for different wavelengths
  • Attenuators integrated for smooth energy adjustment
