Description

The LightWire FPS series are compact fiber seeders designed for picosecond lasers, specifically dedicated for seeding solid state Nd:YAG amplifiers. These fiber lasers deliver sub-10 ps pulses at a 1064 nm wavelength, with average output power up to 200 mW and pulse energy up to 50 nJ. They are engineered for turn-key operation, featuring a monolithic design that requires no maintenance, making them ideal for industrial settings and multidisciplinary research laboratories. The series includes models with both femtosecond and picosecond pulse durations, catering to researchers and OEM integrators who need small, convenient, and maintenance-free sources. The LightWire FPS series offers bandwidth-limited picosecond pulses, broadband pulses compressible down to <200 fs, or sub-140 fs femtosecond pulses. The widely tunable pulse repetition rate (25 kHz – 50 MHz) makes these lasers suitable for non-linear microscopy, time-resolved spectroscopy, terahertz spectroscopy, and ultrafast metrology applications. The lasers feature a narrow, close-to-bandwidth-limited spectrum and low pulse amplitude noise. Wavelength tunability ensures that seed pulses are always spectrally overlapped with the amplification spectrum of the laser amplifier.
