Description
CFDX‑G hinge for narrow jambs. Designed for mounting on glass or panels; bodies in glass‑fibre reinforced SUPER‑technopolymer (PA), black matte finish. Available in flush (C) and non‑flush (R) executions with fixing options B (nuts), p (threaded studs) and SH (countersunk screw holes).

Main specifications

• Body material: glass‑fibre reinforced polyamide (PA) SUPER‑technopolymer, black, matte.
• Rotating pin: glass‑fibre reinforced PA SUPER‑technopolymer.
• Step washers: NBR rubber, 70 Shore A (included). Raw material compliant with FDA CFR.21 and EU 10/2011.
• Flat washers: A4 UNI 6593‑MT stainless steel (included).
• Max. door thickness for certain executions: 5 mm (R versions for flush/non‑flush mounting).

Standard executions

• CFDX‑G‑C‑B: stainless steel nuts with threaded hole on narrow body (jamb); brass blind‑threaded bushings on wide body (door).
• CFDX‑G‑C‑p: stainless steel threaded studs on narrow body (jamb); brass blind‑threaded bushings on wide body (door).
• CFDX‑G‑C‑SH: through‑holes with seat for countersunk screws on narrow body (jamb); brass blind‑threaded bushings on wide body (door). SH versions supplied disassembled.

Features and applications
The CFDX‑G hinge (registered design) comprises two differently sized bodies (wide and narrow) for use on structures with narrow jambs. Mounting type reduces tampering risk. Suited for glass or panel doors where corrosion resistance, light weight and electrical insulation are required.

Rotation angle (approx.)
Maximum ≈ 195° (range −5° to +190°, where 0° equals the two interconnected surfaces in the same plane). Do not exceed this limit to avoid degrading mechanical performance.

Installation notes

• For glass/panel mounting: drill hole Ø 10.5 ±0.2 mm in glass/panel (minimum thickness 4 mm).
• Place the hinge centring the matching part (d1) into the hole.
• On the opposite side insert step washers and flat washers and secure with screws (not included).

Instructions for use (assembly instructions)
For SH versions: assemble the narrow side to the jamb and the wide side to the door; insert the rotating pin from the side without diametric enlargement until it locks into the hinge body.
