Description
It is a type of positive displacement pump. Ideal for high viscosity and medium viscosity fluids.
This type of pumps basically consists of two lobes rotating in a body with the help of gears without touching each other. As the lobes rotate, the space between the lobes and the body is filled with fluid and transmitted towards the outlet. The pump provides a continuous flow since the distance between the lobes and between the lobes and the body is kept constant, thus providing an efficient transfer.
