Dome Nuts, also known as Cap Nuts and Acorn Nuts, are a type of nut that has a domed end on one side. As such, a Dome Nut is ideal for covering and protecting a bolt or screw in a wide range of applications. Made from Nylon 6/6, these Nylon Acorn Nuts not only protect the bolt threads under the nut, but also provide a tidy appearance. A Cap Nut may also improve safety on some joints and applications. When an assembly needs a smooth finish, or you wish to hide or disguise the fasteners and exposed threads of an application, Plastic Dome Nuts are the ideal solution.
