Max.: 12 mm (0.47 in)
Description
Overview
Mini linear guides provide smooth, precise linear motion in compact systems and guide/support moving loads. They are intended for applications with limited space and weight such as scientific instruments, medical devices and semiconductor manufacturing.
Construction and operation
Consist of a base rail, a sliding block and rolling elements (typically ball bearings) that carry load and reduce friction.
The base rail is fastened to the machine frame; the sliding block (guide carriage) is placed onto the rail for installation. Carriages are often delivered mounted on protective/transport blocks and must be set onto the rail during assembly.
Designed to carry dynamic loads while accounting for shock, vibration and fatigue.
Technical features / specifications
Material: stainless steel
Series references: SRL1012, SRL1010 (SRL101 series)
Main components: base rail; sliding block (carriage); rolling elements (ball bearings)
Typical fastener size: M3 (varies by SKU)
Example dimensions (from SKU tables): w1 ≈ 12.0 mm, h1 ≈ 7.5 mm, l3 ≈ 10.0 mm, l2 ≈ 25.0 mm; overall lengths vary by SKU
Applications and installation
Typical uses: scientific instruments, medical instrumentation, semiconductor equipment and other applications with strict space and weight constraints.
Require mounting on precisely prepared, flat surfaces and accurate alignment during installation to maintain precision and service life.
Suitable for compact, lightweight mechanisms where standard linear guides are too large.
Product variants and examples
Multiple SKUs available with different overall lengths, hole spacings and profile widths; examples of SKU references: 20160494, 20160524, 20160456.
Available in standard-width and wide versions depending on load and stiffness requirements.
