Quarter-turn fasteners engage into receptacles and lock by turning the stud approximately 90° (quarter turn). They provide predictable holding force and include a ratchet or locking feature in the locked position to resist accidental opening, offering a fast and secure mounting solution. Some variants are configured as quick-fit fasteners delivering a permanent but removable attachment, particularly suited to panels and safety components that must be replaced rapidly.

Installation and removal:
Use a flat screwdriver or a coin and rotate the fastener by a quarter turn to release the lower panel while retaining the fastener in the removable panel. Optionally, the plunger can be driven into the eyelet with a hammer to lock two panels together.
