Overview Adjustable Air Amplifier™ Deluxe Kits include an Adjustable Air Amplifier, EFC™ (Electronic Flow Control), shim set, filter separator and pressure regulator with coupler. Air Amplifiers entrain large volumes of surrounding air using the Coanda effect to produce high-volume, high-velocity outlet flows for circulation, fume/smoke removal and light-material movement. Force and flow are adjusted by rotating the exhaust end to open or close the continuous exhaust gap; the knurled ring locks the setting when tightened. Units are available in aluminum or stainless steel for food-service, high-temperature (up to 400°F/204°C) and corrosive environments.
Applications - Vent welding smoke and fumes
- Cool hot parts and tooling
- Dry wet parts and assemblies
- Clean machined components
- Distribute heat in ovens and molds
- Ventilate confined or enclosed areas
- Assist dust-collection systems
- Exhaust tank and process fumes
Advantages Compared to fans: - Compact, lightweight and portable
- No electricity required
- No moving parts—minimal maintenance
- Ends can be easily ducted
- Instant on/off response
- Variable force and flow via continuous adjustment
- No RF interference
Compared to venturies and ejectors: - Higher entrainment with lower compressed-air consumption
- Greater flow amplification ratios
- No internal obstructions to clog
- Meets OSHA pressure and noise guidelines
- Quiet operation
Systems Adjustable Air Amplifiers are offered three ways: Air Amplifier only; Air Amplifier Kit (includes filter separator and pressure regulator with coupler); Deluxe Kit (includes EFC™, filter separator and pressure regulator with coupler). Available outlet diameters: 3/4" (19 mm), 1-1/4" (32 mm), 2" (51 mm), 3" (76 mm), 4" (102 mm).

How It Works Compressed air enters an annular chamber and is throttled through a ring nozzle to form a high-velocity primary airstream. The primary stream follows the Coanda profile toward the outlet, creating a low-pressure center that entrains surrounding air. The combined primary and entrained air exhausts as a high-volume, high-velocity flow.
