OverviewThe Heavy Duty Line Vac™ is EXAIR's largest-capacity Line Vac designed for conveying abrasive or heavy materials and for transfer over extended vertical and horizontal distances. It resembles the standard Line Vac but uses a hardened alloy construction to reduce wear compared with aluminum or standard stainless steel. Available in hose I.D. sizes from 3/4″ (19 mm) through 3″ (76 mm).
Applications- Hopper loading
- Fiber tensioning
- Material conveying
- Waste and trim removal
- Chip removal
- Part transfer
- Filling operations
Advantages- Hardened alloy construction for improved wear resistance
- High throughput capacity
- Compact footprint
- Low noise
- No moving parts
- Compatible with standard hose, tube and pipe

How it worksCompressed air enters an annular plenum and is injected into the throat through directed nozzles. The resulting air jets create a vacuum at the intake, drawing material into the unit and accelerating it through the outlet for conveying over long vertical or horizontal distances.
