Description

Description
EXAIR's compressed air operated Sanitary Flange Line Vac™ connects to standard clamp-style flange fittings to create an in-line conveyor for sanitary applications. Constructed from Type 316 stainless steel, these Line Vacs move large volumes of material over long distances with no moving parts and no electricity required. Material flow is regulated via a pressure regulator; an optional mounting bracket is available for easy installation. Available flange sizes: 1-1/2", 2", 2-1/2" and 3".

Applications
  • Hopper loading
  • Fiber tensioning
  • Material conveying
  • Waste/trim removal
  • Chip removal
  • Part transfer
  • Filling operations

Advantages
  • ISO 2852 compatible — fits standard sanitary flanges
  • Type 316 stainless steel construction for sanitary environments
  • Four stock sizes covering common flange dimensions
  • No moving parts — minimal maintenance
  • Compact footprint
  • High throughput capability
  • Quiet operation

How it works
Compressed air enters an annular plenum and is injected through directed nozzles into the throat. The resulting air jets create a vacuum at the intake which draws material in and accelerates it through the unit for conveying over long vertical or horizontal runs.

Gallery notes
Sanitary Flange Line Vacs are available in four sizes from 1-1/2" to 3". Gallery images typically show sanitary flange installations and pharmaceutical application examples.
