Overview The Line Vac™ is a compressed-air operated in-line conveyor that connects to standard hose to convey bulk materials over long distances. Sizes fit 3/8" to 5" (10 mm to 127 mm) hose. Material flow is regulated with a pressure regulator. Optional mounting brackets are available. No moving parts or electrical supply required. Construction options include aluminum, Type 303 stainless steel, Type 316 stainless steel and hardened alloy.
Applications - Hopper loading
- Fiber tensioning
- Material conveying
- Waste / trim removal
- Chip removal
- Part transfer
- Filling operations
Advantages - Compact design
- Low noise operation
- No moving parts (maintenance‑free)
- Fits standard hose or tube
- Available in aluminum, stainless steel or hardened alloy
- High throughput capacity
Materials Aluminum is the economical option for general-purpose conveying. Maximum temperature: 250°F (121°C). Standard stainless steel models (Type 303) offer good corrosion resistance and are suitable for food service, abrasive or corrosive applications. Maximum temperature: 800°F (426°C). Type 316 stainless steel provides superior corrosion resistance for critical applications including certain food and pharmaceutical uses. Maximum temperature: 1000°F (538°C).
Models Line Vacs are available individually and in kits. Line Vac Kits include a Line Vac, mounting bracket, filter separator and pressure regulator with coupler. Duty levels: light, standard and heavy/ultra duty. Configurations are available for use with hose or NPT threaded pipe.
Accessories - Clear PVC conveying hose in multiple I.D. sizes (3/8" / 10 mm up to 3" / 76 mm) available in lengths up to 50' (15.2 m)
- Mounting brackets for 3/8" (10 mm) through 5" (127 mm)
- Filter separator and pressure regulator (included in kits)
- Drum covers (fine mesh non-woven) for 30 or 55 gallon drums; includes hose clamps and spring buckle strap

How It Works Compressed air enters an annular plenum and is directed through nozzles into the throat. The resulting jets create a vacuum at the intake, drawing material into the unit and accelerating it for conveying over long vertical or horizontal distances.
