Branding irons are used to indelibly mark materials such as wood, PVC, ABS, plastic, leather, etc. They come in various sizes and powers to better adapt them to the material to be marked and can reach a maximum temperature of 400-450°C. Depending on the type of material being stamped, it is advisable to adjust the power of the stamp to make the marking more or less legible. For example, for balsa wood, a lower power is sufficient, while for rough or particularly hard woods or for leather, a higher power is required. The time it takes to affix the stamp is normally around 2-3 seconds and allows you to obtain a well-defined mark without burning.
