Product Description
This clamp can be used as both a thrust clamp and a pull clamp. By turning the handle, the balls are pushed out by the tapered surface to compress the collet and hold the bar or pin shaft. The spring-loaded clamping ensures constant clamping force. Used with a clamping bar through the middle (sold separately), thrust clamping is achieved. Releasing the handle allows the clamping bar to be retracted for workpiece removal. Choosing a clamping bar with a long projection range allows for clamping recessed or hard to access parts. Used with a clamping pin (not supplied), this clamp also operates as a pull-type clamp. By turning the handle, the base clamp locks onto the pin.

Features
An indication line on the body and base of this clamp provides a clear indication of the clamping and unclamping positions. The completion of clamping is indicated by a click, so that anyone can clamp the same way for a safe and reliable fixture. This clamp is available with a clockwise or counterclockwise clamping direction. Body and collet made from electroless nickel-plated pre-hardened steel. Cover and lever arm made from electroless nickel-plated 1045 steel. Handle made from black phenolic plastic.
