Description

Manufactured by our partner TIS Group, Flowrates annular valves are designed to provide precise and efficient flow control in applications requiring fine regulation of liquids and pressurized gases. Their advanced design ensures a smooth transition between different opening positions, minimizing pressure losses and delivering optimal performance, even under high pressure. Thanks to their robust structure and modular design, these valves integrate seamlessly into hydraulic, industrial, and environmental infrastructures. Operating Principle of the Annular Control Valve The annular valve is primarily designed for water flow regulation. The flow control is achieved through the axial movement of a piston, operated by a rod and crank mechanism. The piston is positioned at the center of the valve body and moves within a specifically designed chamber to prevent noise and cavitation. This design ensures smooth operation without vibrations. The water flow is guided through an annular-shaped chamber around the streamlined central body. The section of this chamber continuously decreases from the inlet to the throttling point, enabling a smooth variation in flow and pressure. This geometrically optimized design confines cavitation bubbles to the center of the outlet, preventing valve damage. Precision Regulation and Pressure Loss Minimization Ultra-precise flow control – Optimized design allows for highly sensitive adjustments, ensuring stable and progressive regulation. Reduced pressure losses – Hydrodynamic profile minimizes turbulence and optimizes flow efficiency. High resistance to cavitation and erosion – Ideal for high-velocity conditions and aggressive fluids.
