Description

Product Overview
Distortion-free workholding is achieved by a unique chuck design in which clamp fingers conform to a part’s natural, as-processed contour. Regulated clamping pressure and the resulting force dynamics provide rigidity to fragile and delicate parts, enabling secure clamping and accurate location without part deformity or distortion.

Features & Benefits
  • Minimal distortion on workholding of fragile and delicate parts because of inherent force dynamics
  • Higher attainable spindle speeds — less influenced by centrifugal forces that cause grip force loss
  • Improved concentricity on secondary operations compared with a standard collet
  • Higher productivity through fewer part rejects and potentially fewer re-chucking operations
  • Easy replacement of clamp fingers due to individual mounting to the chuck body
  • Variable adjustment of input actuation for fine tuning of clamping pressure

Applications
  • Thin-walled parts where distortion is a concern
  • Aluminum die cast components
  • Automotive and aerospace components
