Product introduction
KAS series clamping automation equipment is designed to meet the needs of automated production lines for power modules and is customized according to customer process requirements and workflows. The system primarily covers automated loading/unloading, product transfer, handling and assembly operations within the production flow.

DBC feeder
The DBC feeder is intended to automatically load DBCs onto printing or downstream-process trays. The unit mainly comprises a DBC magazine, feed mechanism, lift-and-position unit, three-axis robot, vacuum system and related mechanisms.

• Picks DBCs with suction cups and places them into carriers;
• Suction pickup counting and alarm functions;
• Inspects and evaluates DBC position after placement;
• Anti-drop and error-proof measures for DBCs;
• Feeding area supports feed height of at least 230 mm;
• Uninterrupted feeding capability;
• Provision for AGV vehicle interface.

Carrier switching
The carrier switching unit performs exchanges of carrier parts during clamping operations. The equipment mainly consists of a three-axis module, CCD guidance, line conveyor and buffering mechanisms.

• Transfers products to other carrier trays by gripping or suction;
• Counting and alarm functions;
• Inspects and evaluates product position after placement;
• Anti-drop and error-proof measures;
• Provision for AGV vehicle interface;
• Records device alarm information with retrievable history.

Carrier switching (detailed functions)
The system implements carrier-to-carrier transfers during the clamping process, including CCD guidance and three-axis operations. It performs counting, alarm, position detection, error-proofing and provides AGV interface functions.

Bonding load/unload equipment
Bonding load/unload equipment handles products presented on trays or baskets for bonding, performing de-traying, positioning and bonding. Main mechanisms include lift, feed, positioning, downforce, vacuum and tray push-off.

• Product positioning and fixation features, including downforce and vacuum devices with independent vacuum value display;
• Counting and alarm functions;
• Provision for AGV vehicle interface;

Side-frame assembly machine
The side-frame assembly unit automates sealing and assembly of module housings and baseplates. Main components include conveyor, carrier positioning, three-axis dispensing stations, three-axis assembly robots, tray feeding, vibration bowl cutting, three-axis pickup for copper sleeves, laser marking, tray collection and basket module lifting mechanisms.

• Dispensing/dispense-volume control to prevent overflow, leakage or shortage of adhesive;
• Low adhesive-level alarm allowing refill without stopping the line;
• Clamping and cutting counting with alarm functions;
• Product placement position detection;
• Automatic clamp/cutter switching according to product size;
• Records device alarm information with retrievable history.
