This SCANIA diesel engine runs on a 4 strokes-cycle with a direct injection type. Model DC13 71A (02-01) has a turbocharged and aftercooled aspiration, 6-L cylinders and a rated output of 315 kW prp. It works on a coolant system with a displacement of 12.7 L. The bore and stroke sizes are 130 x 160 mm. The engine uses lube oil ACEA E3, E4, E5 or E7. The total oil capacity is 38 L. The fuel consumption at 50%, 75% and 100% PRP is 38.92 l/h, 57.82 l/h and 77.09 l/h respectively. The water cooled diesel engine has a 24V electrical system, an electronic governor, a dry air cleaner, hot components and radiator guards, and mobile components guards. Its compression ratio is 17.3:1 and it consumes 0.3g/kwh of lube oil.
