The HZ-4000 underground cable fault detector can accurately locate and measure the buried depth of underground pipelines, cables, and optical cables without excavation. It can precisely find the location of the damaged point of the external anti-corrosion layer of the underground pipeline and the fault point of the buried cable. It is suitable for various underground metal pipeline detection and inspection, pipeline management and maintenance, municipal planning and construction, power supply, and other departments. It is an essential instrument for pipeline maintenance units. Features of the HZ-4000 Cable Fault Detector - Multiple Functions - Transmitter: Three connection modes—inductive, direct, and clamp connection; suitable for different occasions. - Receiver functions: Detects the position, path, depth, and current of underground pipelines and cables. - Left and right positioning arrows indicate the target pipeline position quickly and accurately; front and rear arrows and dB value indicate the point and size of coating damage. - Backlight suitable for emergency use at night. - Optional GPS geolocation with automatic mapping of ducts. - Optional professional data analysis software with automatic detection report. - Unique feature of HZ-4000: Fault point location (pipeline faults refer to damaged coating points, while electrical cable faults refer to damage to the outer layer); detection of insulation damage in underground pipelines and cables. - Measurement of pipeline and cable current applied by the transmitter. - Multimeter function: Measures output voltage, line voltage, line current, impedance, and power; tests cable continuity and insulation quality before and after fault detection. - External induction clamp: Suitable for testing the cable when the signal cannot be directly applied to the site. - High Positioning Accuracy - Various measurement modes for pipeline positioning (valley mode, peak mode, wide peak mode, peak arrow mode) can be cross-verified to ensure positioning accuracy. - Maximum value method: Peak mode, wide peak mode, and peak arrow mode are available to determine changes in the horizontal component or horizontal gradient, locating according to the maximum position. - Minimum value method: Use valley mode by measuring changes in the vertical component, locating according to the minimum position. - Depth Measurement - Various methods can be used for mutual verification. - Direct reading method with double-level coil. - Single-level coil method 80%, method 50%. - 45-degree method. - Strong Anti-Interference Capability - Many observation parameters: Can measure the horizontal component, vertical component, and horizontal gradient. - High transmission power: The transmitter's output power reaches 10 W and can be continuously adjusted. - Multiple working frequencies: - Transmitter frequency: 128Hz, 512Hz, 1KHz, 2KHz, 8KHz, 33KHz, 65KHz, 83KHz. - Receiver frequency: radio, 50Hz, 100Hz, 128Hz, 512Hz, 1KHz, 2KHz, 8KHz, 33KHz, 65KHz, 83KHz. - Select the appropriate operating frequency according to the characteristics of the target pipeline (material, structure, depth, length, etc.) and the environment. - Easy Operation - Intuitive: Uses a graphical display for sustained and real-time visualization of various parameters during detection and signal intensity. - Automatic: During depth measurement, it automatically switches to dual-level antenna mode and automatically adjusts the receiver sensitivity to optimize the measurement signal. The mode returns to the original after depth measurement. - Long Continuous Working Time with Low Cost - Both the transmitter and receiver are equipped with high-capacity lithium batteries. A full charge can last a full outdoor workday.
