Description

Overview
The Humphrey iDP inert diaphragm-poppet solenoid valves are designed to control difficult media including bodily fluids, cleaners, reagents and aggressive fluids. The new 101 series miniature iDP valve is constructed of materials suited for handling fluids at elevated temperatures. The 10mm iDP valve is ideal for life science equipment, analytical devices, reagent applications and microfluidic use. It is adaptable for clinical chemistry, agent detection, environmental monitoring, food and beverage production and gaseous flow control. The valve’s low dead space volume makes it ideal for applications where cross-contamination is a consideration.

Features and Benefits
  • Inert wetted materials for broad compatibility
    • Radel™ body and EPDM or FKM elastomers
  • Low internal volume: 3 Lµ unactuated (under seat) and 30 Lµ actuated
  • Long life: More than 5 million cycles
  • Wide temperature range
    • Fluid temperature range: -4°F to 203°F (-20°C to 95°C)
    • Ambient temperature range: -4°F to 149°F (-20°C to 65°C)
  • Best-in-class chemical resistance
  • Small footprint allows for multiple valves in a confined space
  • 12 and 24 VDC coil options
  • Ideal for micro-dosing applications
  • Size and footprint lend it to custom and engineered solution designs
  • Fluid pressure: Up to 30 PSI (2.06 bar)
  • Flow rate: 550 mL (water)

Applications
  • Life science equipment
  • Analytical devices
  • Reagent applications
  • Microfluidic use
  • Clinical chemistry
  • Agent detection
  • Environmental monitoring
  • Food and beverage production
  • Gaseous flow control

Series Information
The 101 iDP Series complements Humphrey’s existing iDP product family, providing a miniature 2-port inert diaphragm-poppet valve option for handling hazardous gases and liquids.
