Overview
The USB-S7 Adapter MPI, DP, PPI is a USB interface that converts USB to MPI/PPI or DP-Bus for programming software and HMIs. It includes a 1.2 m MPI connecting cable that can be plugged directly into the CPU programming socket or into any node on the MPI network. The integrated LCD displays the transmission rate and the MPI/DP address. The housing features a Type B USB socket and the adapter is supplied with a USB cable for connection to the PC. The adapter is bus-powered via the PC USB and can be used at any node in the MPI bus. Compatible with S7-200, S7-300 and S7-400 controllers.
