Description
The S7-CX315 SD is an S7-compatible PLC implemented on a micro SD card for use with Beckhoff CX8000 series embedded DIN-rail PCs. When inserted into a compatible CX8000 device, the card enables the PC to behave like an original SIMATIC S7 PLC, allowing programming with S7 for Windows® (Kit-Version) or STEP7. Online access and programming are available via Ethernet, and the S7-CX SD executes S7 programs in the same manner as dedicated hardware PLCs.
