Description

Overview
The INDAR HE is a monobloc vertical axial submersible pump coupled to a submersible motor. It is engineered for continuous operation in severe ambient conditions thanks to an efficient cooling system. Available power range: 50 – 2,500 kW.

Main features
  • Vertical axial submersible pump design.
  • Motor options: air-filled or water-filled.
  • Axial impeller or variable-pitch impeller; large free passage to prevent clogging.
  • Common-shaft configuration.
  • Anchor hook for easy installation and removal.
  • Built-in sensors for temperature, vibration and humidity.
  • Designed for high flows at low heads.

Installation
The compact design of HE-type pumps simplifies installation. Units can also operate in a horizontal position. Common installation types include:
  • Free discharge: pumping by overflow of the discharge pipe.
  • Pressurized discharge: includes a check valve to prevent backflow when the unit is stopped.
  • Siphon discharge: siphon effect reduces energy consumption during pumping.

Applications
  • Upstream and offshore (exploration & production)
  • Midstream (transport and storage)
  • Downstream (refineries and petrochemical plants)
  • Water supply
  • Desalination
  • Industrial cooling
  • Pumped-storage
  • Mining
  • New-build plants
  • Existing plants
  • Tidal energy
