Product overviewThe JBT Marel Heated Flooder is available in multiple configurations and sizes to support sanitary processing of various product types. It is designed as a recirculating, optionally heated flooder to improve treatment uniformity while minimizing treatment water and chemical use.
Benefits- Effective control of residues and decay using relatively low fungicide concentrations
- Superior surface coverage compared with tanks or non-recovery sprays
- Water recycling reduces fungicide consumption and waste discharge
- When heated (subject to fungicide compatibility), minimal temperature loss between the weir and product improves energy efficiency and residue deposition
- Compatible with PAA or chlorine sanitizers depending on fungicide selection
- Lower disposal volume compared with typical tank treatments
- Short contact time and excellent coverage allow use of heat without product damage risk
- Compact footprint; can be installed over existing equipment
Applications- Electrical requirements: 20 amp, 480 V, 3‑phase
- Pin/brush range: 6–10 brushes
