OverviewOur T.A.S.T.E. Evaporator (Thermally Accelerated Short-Time Evaporation) is a pre-evaporator designed to provide pasteurization and stabilization of juices during the pre-heating cycle and after the first evaporation stage. In the tube nest the juice is injected as a turbulent fog to achieve a heat-transfer rate far above conventional conditions; flow acceleration in the tubes can reach approximately 700 km/hour.
Key benefits- Flow rate reduction up to 50%
- Total residence time of 4–5 minutes
- Lower thermal damage and significant energy savings
- Minimal product recirculation for improved process integrity
- Low installation and maintenance costs; simple operation
- Quick changeover between fruit juices and tomato processing (MPTE configuration)
Details- Optimized for citrus juice concentrates and other clear fruit juices
- Operates as an efficient pre-evaporator when combined with a Forced Circulation Evaporator stage
- Multi-Purpose T.A.S.T.E. (MPTE) variant handles tomato paste
- Tube-nest design promotes turbulent fog injection for high heat-transfer coefficients
Versions- Forced Circulation Evaporator
- Hybrid Evaporator
