Product description
SparkTrap is a pre-separator for sparks, glowing particles and cigarette ends. Installed in ductwork upstream of extraction and filter units, it prevents sparks, coarse particles and cigarette butts from entering the filter system with nearly 100% efficiency. By reducing particulate load on the filter, SparkTrap can extend filter life by up to 300% and reduce the risk of fire during welding, grinding and cutting operations. An optional spark detection system enables automatic shutdown of the downstream filter unit when a threshold is exceeded.
