Principle of Operation
Oval wheel flowmeters are positive displacement meters that measure a fixed volume per rotation using two intermeshing oval rotors in a precision chamber. Rotational movement is detected by embedded magnets, providing a high-resolution pulse signal that can be processed by remote displays, PLCs or integral accessories. This technology delivers precise volumetric measurement regardless of liquid conductivity and requires no flow conditioning, simplifying installation in tight or constrained piping runs.
