Description

Roots vacuum pumps are dry-running vacuum pumps that can be used with a primary pump in all industrial vacuum and fine vacuum processes. Their main purpose is to allow the vacuum system to operate at a higher pumping speed in finer vacuum ranges and, thus, achieve a better final vacuum level. These pumps can be supplied with two options: - Bypass and valve system: allows the roots pump to be started up at atmospheric pressure at the same time as the primary pump. - Magnetic drive: allows the pump to operate without the presence of seals that are susceptible to wear, thus reducing downtime and the cost of pump repair by a factor of 2 or even 3. Technical data: - Flow rate: 1000 m³/h (50 Hz), 1240 m³/h (60 Hz) - Ultimate pressure: 3x10⁻⁴ mbar - Maximum pressure difference: 80 mbar - Motor power: 4 kW - Nominal motor speed: 2950 rpm (50 Hz), 3480 rpm (60 Hz) - Noise level: 68 dB(A) - Weight approx.: 233 kg - Gas inlet: 100 mm - Gas outlet: 100 mm Applications: - Vacuum packaging - Metallurgy - Industrial coatings - Vacuum drying - Vacuum impregnation - Low speed wind tunnels - Vacuum distillation - Drying and degassing
